Unit 8: Photography

These images show me exporting my photos from Photoshop after I edited them. I exported them as PNG's. Due to cropping, they all have different dimensions. This also means that they all have different file sizes. This is the folder that I exported all of my images too. I named all of my images appropriately in order to easily identify them and the same goes for the name of the folder its self.

This is how I created the overlay effect that I wanted to achieve after my research into different styles of .photography.  First I imported my images from Lightroom into Photoshop. I then selected the rectangle tool and drew a rectangle over my image. Then I selected the colour that I wanted the image to be and made the rectangle that colour. I then went to the dropdown menu that can be seen above the layers and selected overlay on the rectangle layer. After that I repeated this step with all of my images. I did this because it enhances the visual effect for the audience.   For the photo of the trees which I used a fisheye lens for, it was too overexposed when I added the red that it made part of it white so I had to lower the exposure.  This was because parts of the image were overexposed.  I used the histogram tool to highlight areas that were clipped.
