LO2: M2: Legal and Ethical Report

Image
Explain legal and Ethical Considerations for the Photographic Shoot In this report I will be discussing the legal and ethical issues that I must consider when taking my photos for this 'Beautiful Doncaster' brief. The legal issues surrounding my shoot are the laws which affect the shoot as I will need to abide by them to avoid facing a lawsuit. There are also ethical issues that I must abide by in order to not hurt or offend anyone with the photoshoot or the photos themselves. During my photo shoot I will need to consider the legal issue of privacy. I will need to ensure that I Do not take any pictures on private property without the land owners permission. To do this I will research the place where I am taking my photos to see their status and then if I need to I will ask permission and if they say yes then I will take my pictures there and fill out a property release form which is a written contract between me and the land owner that states that I am per...

The purpose of my shoot: The purpose of my shoot is to  to take photographs in and around Doncaster that show the area in a positive light. I will be doing this to fulfil the client requirements listed in the brief I was given. The theme of the commission is 'Beautiful Doncaster'. the commission can include portraits, Landscapes, urban/rural shots to showcase the local area. My shoot will be based mainly around landscape photography. My shoot is inspired by photographer  David Benjamin Sherry who took landscape photographs and edited them to be monochrome images in a wide variety of different colours. The colours will aid me in creating images regarding the beauty of Doncaster since they can be added to a seemingly ugly place and add brightness.  I will need to ensure that my shoot complies with all laws. I must also consider ethics along with health and safety involved in the shoot. Mood board of my styles of photography: This mood board sho...

What photos do you take? Upon looking through my photos I discovered that the majority of photos that I have taken are of landscapes. These are some of the landscape photos that I have taken. I took this one from a plane on my way to Lanzarote. It was taken over the North Atlantic Ocean. I took this photo because the way the clouds split and show the ocean reminded me of a river with the riverbank covered in show. the different colours and textures add to this image and give it a rocky kind of look. Also in the top right corner the clouds look a bit like some kind of waterfall which adds to the river effect.  I took this photo in Lanzarote. It is composed using framing and horizon line. The framing is a statue through which you can see the beach. I took this photo in Lanzarote. It is of the mountains near the hotel I stayed at. It was shot using deep depth of field since it is all in focus. I took this photo from the hotel I was staying at of the street next to it. this photo uses ...
