    • He is best known for his colour photographs that document social issues. His photography spans cultures, tradition and conflicts




  • Dorothea Lange - Portraiture, Documentary
    • She is best known for her depression era work.




  • Annie Leibovitz - Portraiture (Celebrities) 
    • She took photos of a great variety of celebrities.




  • David Bailey - Portraiture
    • He was known for his advertising, celebrity and fashion photographs.




  • Henri Cartier Bresson - Documentary
    • He was a master of candid photography and pioneered the genre of street photography.




  • Robert Capa - War Photographer.
    • He takes pictures of war and also how it effects citizens.

LO4: M4: Embedding Metadata

Image
Metadata is data that provides us with information about other data. An example of this could be when you take a photo on your phone and it says the location. Another example could be dates that the photo was taken. EXIF metadata is a record showing the DSLR camera settings that were used while taking a particular photograph. This means each image has its own unique data. IPTC stands stands for 'International Press Telecommunications Council'. This standardized metadata format was created for the use of media and press agencies. This means that it includes the type of information they need to publish a photo. It includes details like the title, description, and location. EXIF focuses on the technical details of the image whereas IPTC focuses on the content of the image. These images show the metadata of my images. They show the title, caption, copyright, date taken and location of my images. These images show the format, image dimensions and file size.
